Muslim a Terrorist

I went to the mall, and a little girl called me a terrorist.
My name is Ela.  I am seventeen years old.  I am not Muslim, but my friend told me about her friend being discriminated against for wearing a hijab.  So I decided to see the discrimination firsthand to get a better understanding of what Muslim women go through.
My friend and I pinned scarves around our heads, and then we went to the mall.  Normally, vendors try to get us to buy things and ask us to sample a snack.  Clerks usually ask us if we need help, tell us about sales, and smile at us.  Not today.  People, including vendors, clerks, and other shoppers, wouldn’t look at us.  They didn’t talk to us.  They acted like we didn’t exist.  They didn’t want to be caught staring at us, so they didn’t look at all.
And then, in one store, a girl (who looked about four years old) asked her mom if my friend and I were terrorists.  She wasn’t trying to be mean or anything.  I don’t even think she could have grasped the idea of prejudice.  However, her mother’s response is one I can never forgive or forget.  The mother hushed her child, glared at me, and then took her daughter by the hand and led her out of the store.
All that because I put a scarf on my head.  Just like that, a mother taught her little girl that being Muslim was evil.  It didn’t matter that I was a nice person.  All that mattered was that I looked different.  That little girl may grow up and teach her children the same thing.
This experiment gave me a huge wakeup call.  It lasted for only a few hours, so I can’t even begin to imagine how much prejudice Muslim girls go through every day.  It reminded me of something that many people know but rarely remember: the women in hijabs are people, just like all those women out there who aren’t Muslim.
People of Tumblr, please help me spread this message.  Treat Muslims, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Pagans, Taoists, etc., exactly the way you want to be treated, regardless of what they’re wearing or not wearing, no exceptions.  Reblog this.  Tell your friends.  I don’t know that the world will ever totally wipe out prejudice, but we can try, one blog at a time.

Versi Novel: Jeritan Batinku

"VERSI NOVEL"

assalammualaikum semua,

Hanntzah.

5 Supplements You Should Be Cautious About

 1. Calcium
To support bone strength, stave off osteoporosis and keep your muscles and joints working well, it's important to get enough calcium in your diet. And that's where most of it should come from: your diet! Calcium is available in a slew of foods, including the usual suspects, milk, cheese and yogurt, and less obvious places, such as dark leafy greens, sardines, soybeans, broccoli, sesame seeds and almonds. Aim for 1,300 mg a day, and get at most 50 percent from multivitamins and calcium chews. A recent study found that getting too much calcium (more than 1,400 mg daily-especially if more than half comes from supplements) can increase the risk of death from cardiovascular disease and prostate cancer (and what goes for prostate cancer usually ends up being the same for breast cancer). And don't forget to move! Exercise, especially resistance work, is a key piece of the prescription for healthy bones.

2. Vitamin B
We're all tired and looking for a way to get more out of each day, so it's no wonder that energy drinks are practically spilling out of store refrigerators wherever you go. We know that most of them contain caffeine and a lot of them tout B vitamins-niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), B6, biotin (B7), folate (B9) and B12-which help your body generate energy from your food. Well, just because the label screams Healthy vitamins!! doesn't make it a healthy beverage. Regularly downing energy drinks puts your at risk of going over your daily intake of B vitamins, which can cause nausea, hives, vomiting, mental dysfunction, nerve damage and liver issues not too far down the road. Skip the energy drinks and bulk up on better bets for B: peppers, cabbage, asparagus, spinach, clams, mushrooms, caffeinated water, tea and coffee.

3. Vitamin C
Vitamin C does so much-it's the ultimate immune-booster and a total beauty nutrient. It helps prevent wrinkles, keeping skin firm and full, and it is great for your hair. It's not too hard to find, and because it's water soluble, vitamin C doesn't get stored in your fat cells and build up there. But that doesn't mean you can't overdo it. Too much C over time can cause kidney stones and some data suggest that more than 2,500 mg a day can increase your chances of osteoarthritis. We recommend 800 mg (unless you're taking statin drugs for high LDL cholesterol, in which case you should go even lower on C). You want to get your daily dose, but don't go C-razy.

4. Vitamin A
Like vitamin C, vitamin A is a powerful and important ingredient in many beauty foods, like milk, carrots, spinach, kale and cantaloupe. It's especially great for skin and eyes and you should strive for up to 2,500 IU per day. But stop there. An overabundance of A can cause headaches, nausea and vomiting. It also causes fat to be stored in the liver-and is especially problematic if it comes from pills instead of food.

5. Iron
Another liver (and heart) taxer is iron. You want to get about 18 mg per day from dark leafy greens, beans, lentils, oysters, raisins and lean red meat. Iron is essential in the body because it helps your blood transport oxygen to where it's needed most-that includes your vital organs as well as your skin and scalp. Without enough of it, your immune function, energy levels and beauty suffer (think bruises, hair loss and dark circles). But if your iron stores get overloaded, it can cause seriously toxicity and liver damage. It's easy to get too much iron if you take a supplement, especially if you eat meat, so avoid any multivitamin that contains iron unless directed by your physician.

11 scariest ingredients in your food

i got it from yahoo.com..if you want to know more please go to their website..

  1. diet sodaAcesulfame Potassium (Acesulfame-K)

WHAT IT IS: A calorie-free artificial sweetener 200 times sweeter than sugar. It is often used with other artificial sweeteners to mask a bitter aftertaste.
FOUND IN:
More than 5,000 food products worldwide, including diet soft drinks and no-sugar-added ice cream.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Although the FDA has approved it for use in most foods, many health and industry insiders claim that the decision was based on flawed tests. Animal studies have linked the chemical to lung and breast tumors and thyroid problems.

artificial sweetener package2.Aspartame

WHAT IT IS: A near-zero-calorie artificial sweetener made by combining two amino acids with methanol. Most commonly used in diet soda, aspartame is 180 times sweeter than sugar.
FOUND IN:
More than 6,000 grocery items including diet sodas, yogurts, and the table-top sweeteners NutraSweet and Equal.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Over the past 30 years, the FDA has received thousands of consumer complaints due mostly to neurological symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, memory loss, and, in rare cases, epileptic seizures. Many studies have shown aspartame to be completely harmless, while others indicate that the additive might be responsible for a range of cancers.

Icing bowl3.Titanium Dioxide

WHAT IT IS: A component of the metallic element titanium commonly used in paints and sunscreens. The food industry adds it to hundreds of products to make overly processed items appear whiter.
FOUND IN:
Processed salad dressing, coffee creamers, and icing.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Titanium is a mined substance that's sometimes contaminated with toxic lead. Plus, most white dressings (like creamy ranch) aren’t great for you anyway. Both your health and your waistline will fare better if you go with an olive oil- or vinegar-based salad topper instead.

soil4.Glyphosphate

WHAT IT IS: The active ingredient in the popular week killer Roundup. It’s used on corn and soy crops genetically engineered to withstand a heavy dousing of the chemical.
FOUND IN: Most nonorganic packaged foods containing corn- and soy-derived ingredients. Because it’s a systemic herbicide, it’s taken up by the plant—meaning you eat it.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Glyphosphate exposure is linked to obesity, learning disabilities, and infertility.
BONUS TIP:

cereal5.Butylated HydroxyAnisole (BHA)

WHAT IT IS: A petroleum-derived antioxidant used to preserve fats and oils.
FOUND IN:
Beer, crackers, cereals, butter, and foods with added fats.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Studies have shown BHA to cause cancer in the forestomachs of rats, mice, and hamsters. The Department of Health and Human Services classifies the preservative as "reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen."

frozen dinner6.Interesterified Fat

WHAT IT IS: A semi-soft fat created by chemically blending fully hydrogenated and non-hydrogenated oils. It was developed in response to the public demand for an alternative to trans fats.
FOUND IN:
Pastries, pies, margarine, frozen dinners, and canned soups.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Testing on these fats has not been extensive, but the early evidence doesn't look promising. A study by Malaysian researchers showed a 4-week diet of 12 percent interesterified fats increased the ratio of LDL to HDL cholesterol. Furthermore, this study showed an increase in blood glucose levels and a decrease in insulin response.

cupcake7.Red #3 (Erythrosine) and 8. Red #40 (Allura Red)

WHAT THEY ARE: Food dyes that are orange-red and cherry red, respectively. Red #40 is the most widely used food dye in America.
FOUND IN:
Fruit cocktail, candy, chocolate cake, cereal, beverages, pastries, maraschino cherries, and fruit snacks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The FDA has proposed a ban on Red #3 in the past, but so far the agency has been unsuccessful in implementing it. After the dye was inextricably linked to thyroid tumors in rat studies, the FDA managed to have the liquid form of the dye removed from external drugs and cosmetics.

cookies9.Yellow #5 (Tartrazine) and 10. Yellow #6 (Sunset Yellow)

WHAT THEY ARE: The second and third most common food colorings, respectively.
FOUND IN: Cereal, pudding, bread mix, beverages, chips, cookies, and condiments.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Several studies have linked both dyes to learning and concentration disorders in children, and there are piles of animal studies demonstrating potential risks such as kidney and intestinal tumors. One study found that mice fed high doses of sunset yellow had trouble swimming straight and righting themselves in water. The FDA does not view these as serious risks to humans.

beaver11.Castoreum

WHAT IT IS: Beaver anal gland juice. Really. Beavers combine it with their urine to mark their territory.
FOUND IN:
Vanilla or raspberry flavoring in processed foods, labeled only as “natural flavoring.”
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
It’s beaver anal gland juice.

As my mind fly away

as i was listening to a soft instrumental music,  my mind fly away...remembering all my sins..
what did i do on my past..how much good and bad that i have done..although sometimes,
i didn't mean to say like that to others, but what done its done right, there nothing we can change now..
although i really want to be good, i accidentally do it again.. maybe because i am a human..not an angel.. that's the phrase..

you want to see what i wrote when i was in form 1,its like this..

it is written on my diary

IF SOMEONE READ READ THIS BOOK HE/SHE WOULD GET A SIN BECAUSE DON'T ASK MY PERMISSION FIRST.- I'M A VERY SENSITIVE PERSON. ALTHOUGH I'M LOOK LIKE I'M NOT SENSITIVE BUT FOR A SMALL THINGS FOR YOU IT'S A PROBLEMS FOR ME..

and yeah i wrote it in english on my diary, because in my childhood i like english subject so much..although i'm not good in communicating..but't thats ok..

this part in my diary state " I'm not sociality" -in new school only not sure whether it is 2002 or 2003 (all my diary is written in english at that time)

when i at my school i feels different.
when i at my home i feels different.
when i at my school i am a different person.
when i at my home i am a different person.
when i am surrounded with my friends i am a different person.
when i am at my home i become a different person.
i don't like society and social because i don't know how to mix with society.
every time i try to mix with them i feels apart from them.
i am happy with my old friends (priamary school), family and relative but today
i am surrounded with new friends i don't like them except some of them.

another part of my diary "Am I an Alien?"

I am a human not a,
monster or alien but,
I'm always alone and,
I'm feels apart from them.

human have sex male or female,
i am female,
i am not a young girl or woman but i'm midst of them.

i'm not alone when i back home because
my family make me feels welcome and happier than.....
although i have friends but i don't feels very happy with them.
i am happy when i'm surrounded with  my family and relative

this "Am I an Alien?," is written when i was in hostel in my form 1.

the continue of Am I an Alien-2 i'm not sure whether i'm in form 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (at this time i don't stay at hostel anymore) ..haha

I am a human
Human who has no power
to speek or to reject
what people said.

I am human not a,
monster or beast or
whatever,but I am
alienated from my family

I am a human,
Human who cannot speak
about problem to
my family member.

I am an Alien
I live far away from
human.

Human who don't know
to appreciate what I
done and the results
that I got.

An alien who always
cries inside although
many people can't see
it.

although I am an Alien
but I have feelings too,
feeling that someone appreciate me,love me,
and for what I am.

An alien that always
having fun without
people know that
I'm always cries in my
heart.

Maybe it is true
that a saying said
where there is a happy,
there is a sad ending.

My life is just like that
Maybe someday someone
will love me for what I am and
not for what I did
and the disguise that I did.
The End.

at the end of my diary state Am I too sensitive or I likes to cry??? Only god knows how much I feel..

i think whoever who read this post or who read my post which i have filter or delete before this maybe they understand..but for those who didn't read it don't worry you can understand it through this poem..
